Through all the years I have been helping adults develop or change their careers, what’s the single most common piece of feedback I receive?

That’s why, in my workshops and individual sessions, I help young people cast off negative self-perceptions or labels, understand that it’s in their power to change, and give them the tools to do so.
Many parents invest in tutoring and revision courses for their children. But in my experience what gets neglected is what young people need for life; direction, confidence and the ability to present themselves professionally and persuasively. Without this skill, even the very highest grades won’t necessarily lead to success.
Some people are born with confidence and complete clarity over their life. But most aren’t. It is a skill that can be developed and taught. It is a skill that will stand them in good stead for life. It’s a skill that will enable them to understand that the world is indeed their oyster.
